Hockey in San Diego. It's true!

Just in case everyone thought hockey was out of their lives....I can attest that it, in fact, isn't. All you had to do was be at the Hertz rental place at the San Diego airport this morning around 9:00 a.m. and you would have the honor of standing right next to, and being completely oblivious to, Jeremy Roenick. It required a bit of stealth on my part to be unaware of him while I was bumping into him with my bags, but hey, I was talking on my cell, okay?

Even the hapless staff at the Hertz were unaware, the poor saps. Well, I had the pleasure of explaining who he was to the man helping me, but he was more interested in upselling me a spiffier ride than I had reserved. Sucker. He didn't get the upsell because of his lack of hockey sense.

A can of corn and pumpkin seeds

What else would one have for dinner?

Unless you want to eat the elephant man cheeto, of course...

It started off as a nice visit to Trader Joe's. Sadly, it went all downhill from there. The sheer abundance of snackie foodstuff was just too alluring and I succumbed. Dramatically.

But at least the milk wasn't bad and I got to have a fruit jewel for dessert!
